USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program

WSUCC provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack to children ages 12 months and older. Dinner is also provided for the children in the evening care program.  Infant food and formula is provided based on family preferences and infant’s developmental readiness.

Weekly Menu Schedule

We are currently serving food from a 2-Week cycle of rotating menus.  Below you can see the schedule of weekly menus for the Fall Semester.

Week 1 Breakfast: Rice Chex cereal with pears.

Lunch:  Vegetarian lasagna, cottage cheese, apples/applesauce & green salad (beets for young toddlers).

PM Snack: Zucchini muffins & carrots with milk.

Breakfast: Home-style biscuits with jam and bananas.

Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and green salad (zucchini for young toddlers).

PM Snack: Pita bread with hummus, served with mixed vegetables and milk.

Dinner: Macaroni Casserole, Mixed Veggies, Apples, milk.

Breakfast: Multigrain Cheerios cereal with oranges.

Lunch:  Vegetarian Chili with corn muffins, steamed cauliflower and mixed fruit.

PM Snack: Yogurt with bananas & crackers.

Dinner: Veggie burger, lettuce & tomato, peaches, milk.

Breakfast: Cheerios cereal with apples/applesauce.

Lunch:  Turkey Bagel Sandwich with cheese. Served with green beans. Vegetarian Option: Cheese sandwich.

PM Snack: Carrots, cucumbers with saltine crackers, cheese, and milk.

Dinner: Cheese Pizza, Salad, Oranges, Milk.

Breakfast: Oatmeal with bananas

Lunch:  Cheese enchilada, salad (green peas for young toddlers) & pear cups.

PM Snack: Animal crackers with fruit/vegetable served with milk.

Week 2 Breakfast: Kix cereal with oranges.

Lunch: Vegetarian spaghetti, with green beans, cottage cheese & pears.

PM Snack: Banana muffin & bananas

Breakfast: Bagel with cream cheese & apples/applesauce.

Lunch:  Beef Hamburgers on whole wheat buns. Served with salad/potato wedges and mandarin orange cups. Vegetarian Option: Veggie. Burgers

PM Snack: Tortilla with sunbutter. Served with goldfish crackers and bananas.

Dinner: Cheese Pizza, salad, oranges, milk

Breakfast: Multigrain Cheerios cereal & bananas.

Lunch: Turkey Bagel Sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Served with apples. Vegetarian Option: Cheese sandwich.

PM Snack: Apple muffin with apples/applesauce served with milk.

Dinner: Bean & cheese burrito, peas, mixed fruit, milk

Breakfast:

Waffles with applesauce.

Lunch:

Cheese & bean burritos with steamed peas & carrots, served with pears.

PM Snack:

Saltines, string cheese with bananas and milk.

Dinner: Vegetarian chili, steamed carrots, pears, corn bread, milk.

Breakfast: Cream of Wheat with mixed fresh fruit

Lunch: Cheese pizza, apple salad (young toddlers green beans) & apples.

PM Snack: Mixed vegetables & animal crackers.
