CCAMPIS Grant
The Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) grant is a program that aids undergraduate parents with the costs of keeping their children enrolled in a quality child care center. The undergraduate students must first be PELL grant eligible, enrolled in classes at Washington State University, and have their children enrolled in a licensed and accredited child care center, or one that is in the process of accreditation. If the parents meet these criteria, they are then eligible to receive an award amount of up to 75% of their monthly childcare cost.
Assistance is also available for Evening Care services which will provide for children to attend the WSU Children’s Center Evening Care program up to two times per week each week of the semester. Student rates are $8.00 per night per child. This amount is reimbursed, for two times a week per child, on a monthly schedule, allowing the student to keep a zero balance on their account. If a student should bring their child more than the two times that are reimbursed, they would be responsible for the remainder of the bill.
